OUR APPROACH
Durability before quick fixes.
Transport equipment uses resources both in production and throughout its entire life cycle. That's why we believe that one of the most important things we can do is develop solutions that can be used efficiently and last for many years.
At MTDK, we link sustainability with quality, longevity, serviceability, resource optimization and responsible working conditions.
We are continuously working on improvements. The site is therefore intended as a concrete description of our approach and efforts – not as a promise that the work is complete.
FOUR FOCUS AREAS
This is how we work with sustainability.
Our efforts are based on the areas where we can actually influence our products, operations and workplace.
01 - LIFETIME
Robust products

We develop equipment with a focus on strength, operational reliability, serviceability and longevity.

02 - ENERGY
Lower energy consumption
We work with energy consumption and more future-proof energy solutions at our address in Randers.

03 - RESOURCES
Less waste

Materials, components, waste sorting and recycling are part of our ongoing work to limit waste.

04 - PEOPLE
A healthy working environment
Well-being, safety, respect, development and an open culture are part of our responsibility as a workplace.

ENERGY & OPERATION
Concrete improvements at our own address.
In 2022, we replaced the heating system in the workshop and production in Randers with more sustainable solutions. This reduced our COâ‚‚ emissions and at the same time provided a more future-proof energy supply.
In addition, we are continuously working to reduce energy consumption, reduce waste and improve sorting and recycling in daily operations.

QUALITY AS AN ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGY
A product that lasts longer does not need to be replaced as often.
For us, quality and sustainability are closely linked. When a trailer is robust, repairable and built for many years of use, the need for replacement and new production can be reduced.
That is why we consider longevity, serviceability and material selection already in the development of the equipment.
Long service life is not only good operating economy. It is also better resource utilization.
IN PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
We think beyond the first delivery.
A transport product must function in reality – even after many years of operation.
Efficient transportation
We develop solutions with a focus on, among other things, payload, function and efficient utilization of the equipment.
Materials with purpose
We select materials and components based on the requirements they must solve, with a focus on strength, wear and durability.
Service and maintenance
Good access to service, spare parts and repairs can help extend the product's lifespan.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Sustainability is also about people.
We want to be a workplace where employees thrive, develop and feel valued. That's why we work with safety, skills development, collaboration and a culture with short decision-making paths.
Management is close to everyday life, and there must be room for ideas, suggestions for improvement and diversity.
