Sustainability and responsibility at MTDK A/S
At MTDK A/S, sustainability is not just an option – it is an integral part of our identity and the way we do business. We see it as our responsibility to actively contribute to a more sustainable world, both through our products, our processes and, not least, our people.
Development with care
We are constantly working to develop and improve our solutions based on how they impact people and the environment – not only here and now, but also in the long term. Our goal is to design and produce vehicles and equipment that support efficient transportation with the least possible impact on the environment.
Our product development is therefore based on functionality, reliability and longevity. We prioritize materials and components that can last for many years of use, and we consider recyclability and resource optimization throughout the value chain.
Environmental considerations in production
In 2022, we took an important step towards reducing our own environmental impact. At our main address in Randers, the heating system in the workshop and production was replaced with more sustainable solutions. This has resulted in a significant reduction in our CO₂ emissions and at the same time helps ensure a stable and future-proof energy supply.
We also focus on reducing energy consumption in our daily operations, reducing waste and ensuring that waste is sorted and recycled to the greatest extent possible. We are continuously working on optimizing both processes and technology – all with the goal of making our production more sustainable.
Quality as an environmental strategy
A key element of our sustainability strategy is quality and durability. When products are built to last, the need for replacement and new production is reduced. This means fewer resources used, less waste and lower overall environmental costs.
We believe that long-lasting products – both in function and form – are an overlooked but important part of the green transition. That's why we design our equipment with a focus on robustness, serviceability and longevity.
Social responsibility and working environment
At MTDK, we believe that sustainability is also about people. We want to be a workplace where employees thrive, develop and feel valued. That is why we work hard to create a healthy and inclusive working environment, where respect, collaboration and openness are the cornerstones.
